2026 FESTIVAL DATES: JUNE 19 - 21, 2026

The Kansas Department of Transportation will begin a bridge replacement project for the bridge on East 12th Avenue over the Walnut River in El Dorado Lake State Park. The road will be closed. The KDOT detour uses U.S. 77, U.S. 54, K-177, NE 10th Street and NE Shady Creek Access Road

The Kansas Veterans Festival takes place at Veterans Point at El Dorado Lake.
Located 3 miles east of El Dorado on US-54 and 1 mile north.
Veterans Point is located close to the lake office.
Go east of the lake office on Shady Creek Access Road.
Look for the Festival signs to guide you to our event location.
